Hotel Unterhof, Filzmoos

My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and not so good experiences. The room, although spacious and clean, urgently needed restoration. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff, offering unexpected treats like afternoon tea. The location, while comfortable and close to the ski lift, had limited facilities compared to other 4* hotels in the area. The dining experience at Unterhofalm was excellent, matching a truly Austrian atmosphere. The facilities were satisfactory, but some areas needed attention.

The hotel is situated on the side of a quite busy road in-and-out of town, but it does become quiet in the evening. The rooms are spacious and clean, featuring a large bathroom with a bath and shower. The service is exceptional with staff going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The location is conveniently close to the ski lift and offers great ski schools and lifts all around the beautiful village of Filzmoos. The dining experience is highlighted by a traditional Austrian atmosphere and attentive staff, though the steam bath was closed during the visit. The facilities are well-kept and offer a comfortable and welcoming stay at this hotel.
